InfiRay Outdoor sets a new standard for thermal imaging with the RICO HYBRID 640×512 – an advanced thermal optic that can be used as both a clip-on device (with up to 10x daytime scopes) and as a stand alone weapon sight. The RICO HYBRID’s ability to switch between a clip-on device and weapon sight is made possible thanks to recent technological advancements in the resolution and pixel density of ultra-HD micro displays. The RICO HYBRID’s dual functionalities can also be attributed to a low-distortion orthoscopic eyepiece paired with a 1.03” 2560×1920 UHD display, which provides an extra large sight picture with edge-to-edge clarity. The core of the RICO HYBRID is a InfiRay Micro II with 640×512 resolution and <25mK thermal sensitivity. This powerful thermal sensor can pick up on heat signatures from up to 3600 yards away, and are optimized for clarity with a MATRIX III image processor. Heat signatures are viewable in multiple color palettes, allowing the RICO HYBRID to be adapted to changing conditions, and 9 user selectable reticles allows the device to be used with different firearms and cartridges. Other features of the RICO HYBRID 640×512 include image and video recording capabilities, including the innovative recoil-activated recording which records 30-second clips automatically before and after the shot. In addition, the RICO HYBRID utilizes an ergonomic 4-button control layout to promote fast operation in the dark, and is compatible with plug-and-play ILR-1000-2 laser rangefinder modules.
